For smaller tea leaves, balled oolongs or rolled green teas usually 1 tsp would work as a 3g amount, but for teas with larger leaves, it would usually be 1 tbsp or a heaping tablespoon.
*Some teas such as Oolongs and Puerh teas give you multiple infusions, meaning the tea leaves can be steeped multiple times. Try playing with the time and length of your tea infusions at home and see how you can make the best out of your teas. You may chill your teas and store in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy them later chilled in a wine glass.
We also recommend short infusions and gongfu style brewing for most teas from China and Taiwan. Feel free to reach out with any questions or try one of our Tea Experiences.
